Registration is required by no later than April 25, 2009 for this great gathering of avid trail riders, which is sure to please all involved. This is one event you don’t want to miss!

Scheduled for May 1st and 2nd 2009, ATVOntario’s Spring Jamboree will start things off with a great opportunity to ride the streets of Parry Sound and Seguin with a Poker Jam from 9 am to 6 pm on Friday. Dealers will be handing out tickets that can be turned in for a playing card back at the home base. The more tickets collected the more playing cards received. The 2 top 5 card poker hands will each win $500 in cash! Then, things move right along with Friday evening’s rumble ride; leaving from the Foley Fair Grounds at 6 pm sharp, the large group will ride back to the Town of Parry Sound, to an amazing rendez-vous at the BOCC, where opening ceremonies are sure to be filled with spirit and surprises.

Saturday May 2nd, registered riders will choose from 3 different trails riding tour options, all starting and finishing at the Foley Fair Grounds. The first is called “Georgian Rocks”, a 6 hour long trek for intermediate to advanced riders, with many breathtaking views. Only 4-wheel drive quads can attack this fun and challenging trip, filled with dramatic inclines and declines, water sections and fantastic vistas with many opportunities to spot wild animals. The route that Georgian Rocks follows will entail small portions of travel on public roads. The "Ontario Highway Traffic Act" specifically prohibits passengers on any ATV.

Passengers are thus welcomed on the "Grand Trunk Tour" which is the second choice to riders on Saturday. This highly scenic and historically rich and longer 8-hours ride, travels along the fascinating Grand Trunk Railway bed, which will offer travelers the exciting and educational passage through the ghost towns of Swords and Seguin Falls, abandoned in the 1890’s. This ride is great for riders with basic to intermediate riding skills with many water sections, gorgeous vistas, several rivers and rapids, lakes and wildlife that are sure to enrich the experience along the way!

Perfect for those who want the full treatment, the third and last option is to take that same Grand Trunk Railway trail, but with many extras to make it an even greater and memorable experience. This package includes the services of a qualified guide, VIP trailside refreshments and snacks and souvenir T-Shirt. Carrying an extra gallon of gasoline is recommended for the longer Grand Trunk Railway trail.
